General FAQ’s:
  • Do I need anything downloaded to join?  Yes, for option 1 listed above.  Please follow the instructions below.
    • Joining from Phone: Install the Zoom app from your phone's App Store.  Note: It may be called "Zoom Cloud Meetings"
    • Joining from Computer: Install the Zoom client from this website (https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/207373866-Zoom-Installers)
      • Windows: Select the "Zoom Client for Meetings - MSI Installer" link
      • Mac: Select the "Zoom client for Meetings" link
  • Do I need anything else to join?  Yes, you will need to provide a personal email address to register when joining the stream.
  • Should I allow the zoom app to access my microphone or camera?  Yes, if prompted please follow the instructions and allow access.
  • What do I put in when I reach the “Register” screen after clicking the join link?  Provide your full name (or family name) and personal email address.
  • How do I put my mobile device on speaker so others in the room can hear the audio? Select the little audio icon in the top corner and make sure it says “on”.
  • Can I connect my computer to an external screen so others can see better?  Yes, it is usually easiest to have the following configuration: Computer -> HDMI cable -> External screen.  If that screen does not support audio, only video, when you join the stream you can change which device audio should come out of in the audio settings of the meeting window  in the lower left hand corner.
