Mark 16:15: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."  The word "preach" in this text means to declare publicly through speech or writing, or to praise or glorify openly or publicly.  Evagelism is the arm of God reaching out to a lost world.

 

Much of the evangelism of Souls Harbor is done by the Public Relations Department, such as mass mailings, flyers, signs, etc.  As effective as these may be in getting our name and purpose into the community, it still takes that "one-on-one" relationship to be effective in reaching the lost.

God has placed us here to reach the masses in our surrounding community.  We have chosen not to be "hearers" of the Word only, but "doers" also.
